Welcome to Coliving Insights: Your Onboarding Guide

Welcome! We are excited to have you join our growing platform. This onboarding guide will help you get started and make the most of the features and tools available to you.

Your navigation bar is your constant companion on the platform, providing easy access to everything you need and is located on the left side of your screen. From here, you can access your Dashboard, as well as individual tabs for each module.

If you find yourself interested in advertising opportunities, the Advertise Tab allows you to purchase advertisement slots across the platform to boost your visibility.

Finally, the navigation bar includes the Settings section, where you can manage your user settings, company settings and billing preferences.

Step 2: Setting Up Your Profile

The second step is to customise your member profile. You can find this option under User Settings > Edit Profile in the navigation bar. Here, you’ll have the chance to add various personal details, including your profile image, position or title, a brief description in the "About" section, links to your social media accounts, email address, phone number, and location.

Additionally, you can showcase up to five key skills that define your expertise and interests. Personalising your profile helps others understand who you are and how you contribute to the shared living industry.

Step 3: Setting Up Your Company Profile

To be able to publish on all the modules, you need to create a company profile relevant to your own account. This is because when you publish a piece of content such as services or events, the company will be assigned to that listing - not the user profile.

This essential feature can be accessed under Company Settings > Edit Profile in the navigation bar. The company profile offers similar customisation options but includes fields specific to businesses, such as the business type, sector, and a headline to capture attention of potential partners and clients.

These enhancements allow you to position your business effectively, making it easier for others to discover and connect with your brand.

Step 4: Familiarising Yourself with the Dashboard

The dashboard serves as your command centre on Coliving Insights and can be accessed through the navigation bar under Dashboard. The section on the left provides an overview of the platform’s activity, featuring the most recent listings and news shared by the community and curated by the Coliving Insights team.

Within the dashboard, the Discover Tab highlights the platform's newest modules, including the Showroom and Marketplace modules, with the Directory and Knowledge Hub modules coming soon. Additionally, the dashboard includes quick access links, making it easy to submit content directly from this page. Spend some time exploring this section to familiarise yourself with its layout and functionality.

Step 5: Overview of the Modules

Once you’re comfortable with the dashboard, the next step is to explore the modules. These are accessible through the navigation bar, where you’ll find modules like Events, News, Articles, and more.

Each module allows you to browse content submitted by the community and Coliving Insights team, view your own offerings, or submit new listings. For instance, clicking on the Events module lets you see all community events, review your submitted events, or add new ones using the submission form.

The modules currently available include News, where you can stay updated with industry developments and announcements; Articles, a resource for expert insights and in-depth analysis; Jobs, which connects professionals with targeted career opportunities; Events, a space to promote and discover industry happenings; Showroom, designed for showcasing and benchmarking projects; and Marketplace, a hub for users to display their services and connect with potential partners. Exploring these modules will give you a clear idea of how they can support your goals on the platform.

Step 6: Submitting Own Listings & Content

Finally, it’s time to share your offerings with the community. You can upload listings through the dashboard’s quick-access links or by selecting a specific module from the navigation bar. Once you choose a module, such as Articles or Jobs, click on the Submit button to open a submission page.

Each module has a tailored submission form designed to capture the key details of your listing, whether it’s a news piece, event, project, or service. Take your time to explore these submission tools to ensure your content is presented in the best possible way.
