Alec Wang is the President of Brenance, a real estate debt fund designed to generate stable returns for investors through asset-backed lending. By funding qualified borrowers in both residential and commercial sectors, Brenance provides efficient capital while promoting community development and housing supply.

He is also the Founder and President of Tana Investment Group, a California-based investment firm with operations across the U.S. West Coast. Tana specialises in long-term real estate holdings and private debt financing, and has expanded into venture investment, backing innovative companies at the intersection of real estate, sustainability, and technology.

Beyond finance, Alec actively supports causes he believes in — particularly environmental sustainability, educational access, and responsible urban growth. His work includes investing in mission-driven companies, serving on nonprofit boards, and giving strategically to philanthropic initiatives.When not in a meeting or up a mountain, he’s probably reading something Greek, advising a fellow founder, or explaining why fixed income doesn’t mean “boring.”
